Operating systems are of various architectures like 32-bit, 64-bit, or 86-bit. What do these architectures mean and how can I know my own computer architecture?
If you have the same questions, read the post till the end because I will show you how to find the system architecture in your PC. Let's dive into this.
What do 32-bit or 64-bit processors mean?
If you have 32-bit P.C, it simply means you cannot install more than 4 GB of RAM on your computer. 32-bit processors are older and less secure and less performant while on the other hand 64-bit processors are more secure and provide better performance. It is also possible to increase RAM capacity on 64-bit PC.
It is very simple to find processor architecture. Right-click on the My Computer or This PC icon and select properties.
A new window will pop up. Here you can see not only the system type but also other details as well i.e., RAM installed, Windows version, etc.
