Four caveats that keep the estimate useful instead of misleading.

    eCPM is format-specific

    Banner eCPM (~$0.20–$0.50) is an order of magnitude below rewarded video ($5–$15). A blended eCPM hides the picture — model formats separately if precision matters.

    Country tier swings everything

    A US-heavy puzzle game easily clears $10 eCPM on rewarded ads; the same app in Tier-3 markets sits closer to $1. Don’t use a global average for a single-country forecast.

  • 03

    Fill rate hits hardest on small DAUs

    Below 1,000 DAU, fill rates can swing 70%–98% day-to-day. Estimate conservatively until you have a 30-day average.

  • 04

    Ads per session has a UX ceiling

    Past ~3 interstitials/session, retention drops measurably. The “add one more ad” math is often a net loss after Day-7 retention erosion.

01How accurate is the AdMob estimate?

It uses the standard funnel: DAU × sessions × ads × eCPM × fill rate / 1,000. Expect ±20–30% in any given month from seasonality, eCPM volatility, and SDK mediation differences.

02What eCPM should I use?

Default to $0.30 for banner, $3–$5 for interstitial, $8–$12 for rewarded — all assuming a US-heavy audience. For mixed-tier traffic, halve those numbers.

03What’s a realistic fill rate?

90–98% is normal for AdMob with mediation. Below 80% suggests targeting or floor-price issues worth diagnosing.

04Does this support waterfall / mediation networks?

Yes — enter your blended eCPM (after mediation) and the funnel works the same. AppLovin, Unity LevelPlay, and Meta Audience Network all fit this model.

05How is ARPDAU calculated?

ARPDAU = daily revenue ÷ daily active users. It’s the per-user economics number most studios benchmark against across apps and genres.

06Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Calculation is fully client-side. DAU, eCPM, and revenue values never leave the browser.
